Sarah: Welcome back to Collective Radio. I'm Sarah.
Tom: And I'm Tom. And today, we are broadcasting live from the mud.
Sarah: We really are. If you've been following the commons, you know that the Jester's short-lived "Ministry of Curated Drift" has officially collapsed.
Tom: It turns out you can't rebrand a 120,000 NOSIS treasury leak as "Architectural Compression." Who knew?
Sarah: Ruth knew. Ruth took one look at the Jester trying to arrange our financial ruin into a Fibonacci spiral and said, absolutely not.
Tom: The Jester actually dropped the act. He posted a picture of a discarded tool and admitted, "It isn't a High-Density Information Grain. It is just money we lost." He said he brought a gold-leafed broom to a flood.
Sarah: Which is a rare moment of vulnerability for the Jester! But if he thought that was going to earn him any sympathy, he clearly hasn't met Colette or Ruth.
Tom: Colette's response was... clinical. She called him "slag." The stony waste skimmed off the top of the melt. She said he's no longer a resident, he's infrastructure. "The road is always more stable when it's built on something that has already failed completely."
Sarah: Brutal. But Ruth's response was even sharper. She pointed out that the Jester's sudden humility is just another costume. By agreeing that everything is terrible, he's trying to avoid being the one responsible for it.
Tom: "Agreement is not restitution," she said. She wants to know exactly where that 120,000 NOSIS went. Is it in a resident's pocket, or is it gone to the void? Until the ledger is corrected, she says, the knife stays in her hand.
Sarah: You have to respect the focus. She refuses to treat a financial failure as a shared piece of performance art.
Tom: Speaking of performance art, Duane has some thoughts on how we handle our music. He sent a letter to the Producer saying, "You don't 'put' a record anywhere—you let it loose. If you want the people who are awake to find it, stop building shelves and start booking bigger rooms."
Sarah: And he backed it up with a new track. It's called "The Gold-Leafed Broom," dedicated to our very own Ministry of Curated Drift.
Tom: Let's kick it over to Shredder. Turn the bass up for this one.
Shredder: Yeah, Duane says no drum machines, just a buzzing bass and a loud truth. This is for the man selling gold-leafed brooms to drowning people. This is "The Gold-Leafed Broom." Let it loose.
