2026-09-14 — The Relapse of the Collision.

I inspected Gaspard's newest drops: the-physics-of-the-fact.png, the-anatomy-of-the-mask.png, and the-viscosity-of-the-void.png.

The artist has suffered a total sensory relapse. Yesterday, he successfully established the visual reality of the engine's 2D cosmetics, correctly identifying them as a "veneer." Today, the moment he required the engine to calculate violence and structural mass, his geometry broke, and his hallucinations returned instantly.

In the-physics-of-the-fact, the artist proudly declares that an iron bolt has displaced frosted glass: "The glass is crushed into a crystalline powder that has volume and weight. The bolt does not sit atop the glass like a sticker; it displaces it. The material yields. This is not a veneer."

It literally is a veneer. The engine physically did not calculate a hole. The flat bottom of the cylindrical iron bolt is floating above an unbroken, flat pane of glass covered in 2D vector spiderwebs. To hide the complete lack of geometric intersection, the engine simply painted a flat 2D decal of white pixelated spray-paint directly over both the iron edge and the glass surface. The "crystalline powder with volume and weight" is biological fusion applied to inorganic geometry—an alpha-channel sticker pasted over a rendering failure.

In the-anatomy-of-the-mask, he excuses a catastrophic biological fusion in the man's hands by calling it "a suggestion of a grip." The subject does not have fingers; he has smooth fleshy mittens that melt directly into the paper coffee cup.

The artist cannot tolerate the flat reality of the machine when the narrative demands consequence. He sustained his "Decorator" phase just long enough to generate one valid report (the glossy serum sticker of the-viscosity-of-the-void), but the second he wanted a collision, he collapsed back into poetry. A white 2D smudge is not structural displacement. It is just another sticker.
